Description
The AM20 universal speaker mount has been designed for maximum flexibility and compatibility for home theater speakers. Sold as a single mount, the AM20 offers multiple mounting options for traditional speaker mounting applications such as ceiling or wall locations and the unique ability to be mounted directly to any single gang electrical box found in todays pre-wired home theaters. Made from steel and aluminum, the AM20 will support speakers up to 11 pounds and includes all hardware to mount nearly all home theater speakers on the market today. The AM20 incorporates a ball joint system allowing for endless angles for fine tuning the speakers sound and simple 2 piece design allowing for easy mounting. The AM20 is available in 3 colors black, white and silver to match any speaker.

This speaker wall mount performs best with small to medium size home theater style speakers that have standard
mounting points located on the back of the speaker. This mount is designed to be mounted directly to a standard
single gang electrical plate or on standard hard surfaces such as wood stud, drywall or concrete.

*Compatibility is based on the most common mounting points used by most speaker manufacturers. In some cases,
a speaker may use one or more mounting points or use a non-standard mounting point that may require addtional
bolts/screws.

*Horizontal Dual Threaded inserts must between 2" & 2.75" apart to work with this mount.
 
**Listed bolt sizes are for diameter only, some speakers may require longer or shorter bolts that are not included.

*** Universal mounting may require additional hardware/bolts that are not included with this mount. Keyhole slots
varry in size and depth and may require different size bolts not included in this mount.

I puchased these mounts for my Goldenear SuperSat 3 speakers which are 5lbs. each. These are mounted on single gang boxes. The black mounts with the black speakers look great and support them very well. Once I adjusted them to where I wanted them and tightened the set screws there was no movement at all. I noticed two things I would look at. The larger diameter set screw against the wall plate could be longer as I almost lost it in it's hole before it grabbed and a long allen key with a T handle may work better then the long L shaped key included when working in confined spaces. Great product!

Ordered the AM-20 Black wall mounts to mount some rear speakers. The previous owners of the house had installed full size electrical gang boxes and these covered them up beautifully. Very high quality components. Would definitely recommend.

Rating AM20s worked well with my Polk RM8s
 
Took some patience but overall did the job as advertised. Screws connecting to gang box very long, assures it will hold. The upper limit of 12-lbs I personally think YMMV but certainly the lower half of the limit it can hold w/o a doubt. I would buy again.

These mounts are great. Easy to put together and they look great. Looks like professional instalation. Customer Service was awesome. Shipping was quick. I will buy these again for the entertainment room!
